The Hotel Birkenhof in Rauris is centrally located and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. In summer as in winter, beautiful hiking tours or pleasant walks can be taken directly from the house. The valley bus takes our guests to more distant destinations in the valley and in the winter season even the ski bus stops right outside the hotel.
In summer, public transport with the National Park Sommercard is free!

Car:
Tauern motorway A1 from Salzburg,
Bischofshofen exit - B 311 towards Zell am See,
at Taxenbach turn off to Rauris (Rauriser Landesstraße)
Salzburg - Rauris approx. 90 km

Train/bus:
Nearest railway station Taxenbach-Rauris from there Postbus to Rauris 10 km.
Nights fast train station Zell am See or Schwarzach approx. 25 km.
From Zell am See by post bus to Rauris. From Schwarzach by taxi.

Arrival in Rauris: Rauris exit West, straight on until grocery shop Billa, turn right, third house on the right, next to Intersport Pirchner, yellow house, Frühstückshotel Birkenhof.
