The holiday flat in Schenna is located in the heart of the historic village and offers the perfect base for a variety of activities in the area. The Prairerhof is only 5 km from the hotspots Therme Merano and the Merano 2000 skiing and hiking area, and is ideal for activities such as hiking, Nordic walking, mountaineering and hill walking. In the immediate vicinity you will find some good restaurants, bars, shops and a bakery.
The signposted hiking network of 500 km right on the doorstep is a real highlight for hiking fans. There are three lifts in the area, perfect for a hike. Discover the surroundings on your own or join a guided tour. In summer, a wine tasting in one of the nearby wineries is also worthwhile.
In winter, there are numerous opportunities for winter sports such as alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding. The nearby ski and hiking bus takes you comfortably and free of charge to the surrounding ski areas. If you prefer something more leisurely, you can enjoy a ride on the summer toboggan run or take a walk through idyllic Schenna. The host will gladly give you insider tips and recommendations to make your holiday unforgettable.
How to arrive
In front of the village entrance of Schenna there is a narrow section where only one direction of travel is possible at a time. After 50 metres this main road divides, keep to the right here and 50 metres further on you will find the Schenna fire station. The entrance to the Prairerhof is on the opposite side of the road from the fire station.
