The renowned Nassfeld ski area, just 10.5 km away, offers unique tobogganing experiences with its 4 toboggan runs, 3 of which are floodlit. Ice skating enthusiasts can enjoy themselves on the 55-hectare natural ice surface of Lake Pressegger See and the 6.5 km² ice surface of Lake Weissensee. There are also a variety of cross-country skiing trails with the option of hiring equipment.

Just 3 kilometres away, Lake Pressegger See offers a wide range of water activities such as swimming, diving, surfing, stand-up paddling and fishing. A special highlight for families is the 1st Carinthian Adventure Park. Cyclists can also enjoy a 950 km network of mountain bike and cycle paths.

How to arrive

You can reach us by car via the A10 Tauern motorway. Take the Tauern and Katschberg toll tunnels to the Feistritz/Drau exit, and then drive towards Hermagor over the Windische Höhe. 3 km before Hermagor you will find us in Khünburg, house number 18. Alternatively, you can take the A10 motorway to the Villach junction, then change to the A2 Südautobahn motorway towards Italy, taking the Hermagor/Gailtal exit. Another route leads via Rosenheim and Kufstein (A12 Inntal motorway, exit Kufstein Süd), through the Felbertauern tunnel (toll) to Lienz, over the Gailbergsattel and Kötschach-Mauthen, in the direction of Hermagor and then to Villach, 3 km before Hermagor is Khünburg.

If you are travelling by train, use the connection to Villach main station, from where regional trains leave for Kötschach-Mauthen.

If you are travelling by plane, your destination is Klagenfurt Airport, which is around 80 km away.
